Jesus Resurrection History or Hoax

To prove that Jesus resurrected and ascended after death is controversial issue but for as a Christian to believe to the things that is unseen is to show how faithful we become.
In the resurrection of Jesus Christ we see the power of the true God. Ephesians 1:19-21 tells us that it is the power of our heavenly Father that raised Jesus Christ from the dead.
If Jesus did not resurrected from the dead, there will be no Christian follower by now. Everything Jesus taught was true, including his great promise in John 6:40, "Everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day." Jesus' teachings concerning his person, his work, heaven, hell, and the future judgment are all true.

This fulfillment of prophecy shows the continuity of Jesus will Reign to judge the living and the dead. In Acts 17:31, Paul told the Athenians, "'For he [God] has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead.'" We see the same idea when Jesus said in John 5:22 "Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son." In verses 27-29 he continued, "And he has given him authority to judge, because he is the Son of Man. Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out-- those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned."
Here a proof and argument of Jesus resurrection, that the same Jesus who died on the cross is the same Jesus who rose from the dead after the third day and ascended to heaven after 40 days.

JESUS DIDN’T DIE IN THE CROSS THAT’S WHY WE APPEAR ON THE THIRD DAY.

First of all Jesus is not afraid to die and he even foretells His death and Resurrection written in “Matthew. 17:22-23 22When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. 23They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life." And the disciples were filled with grief.” And He is indeed willing to die that He peacefully surrenders to the Roman Soldier when He was arrested. He knows that it is about to happen as the fulfillment of prophecy and in obedience to the Lord Father.
The crucifixion of Jesus assures his death. In Israel, crucifixion was usually reserved for idolaters and blasphemers. It was the most degrading and cruel form of death sentence. And it was the surest way to guarantee a criminal dies. And Jesus is already dead even before the soldier is about to hit His leg as part of the customs to fasten the death of the criminal being crucified. John 19:32-33 “32 Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:”

JESUS IS INSIDE THE THOMB, BURIED IN TRADITION JEWISH BURIAL

Jesus was a well- known figure in Israel. His burial site was known by many people. In fact Matthew records the exact location of Jesus' tomb. He states in “Matthew 27:59 And Joseph of Arimathea took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth and laid it in his own new tomb" Mark asserts that Joseph was "a prominent member of the Council" in Mark 15:43. And the tomb site was known not only by the followers of Christ but also by their opponents.
As a Jew, Jesus was buried according to Jewish custom, Jewish will never allow a dead body to be left overnight without embalming. The body of Jesus was covered with 100 pounds of spices and then wrapped in embalming cloth that was sewn by women using three separate garments “John 19:39-40 39He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds.[d] 40Taking Jesus' body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs.” There was absolutely no possibility of Jesus waking up naturally and freeing Himself from the cloth and the spices. The very large stone against the door of the tomb “Matthew 27:60 59Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away.” weighed 1.5 to 2 tons. Twenty men couldn’t have moved it.

JESUS IS GUARDED BY THE ROMAN SOLDIER.

To further secure the tomb, the authorities put a Roman seal on the stone to ensure that the tombstone was not tampered with “Matthew 27:65-66 65”Take a guard," Pilate answered. "Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how."66So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.” The Roman seal came with a warning sign that grave robbers would be severely punished. Finally, there was a Roman guard unit of four to 16 men watching over the tomb to make certain that no one stole Jesus’ body away “Matthew 28:11 11While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened.”

SWOON THEORY

Jesus never died on the cross but merely passed out and was mistakenly considered dead. After three days He revived, exited the tomb, and appeared to His disciples who believed He had risen from the dead.
It is a physical impossibility that Jesus could have survived the tortures of the crucifixion. Second, the soldiers who crucified Jesus were experts in executing this type of death penalty. Furthermore, they took several precautions to make sure He was actually dead. They thrust a spear in His side “John 19:34-35 34Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. 35The man who saw it has given testimony and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe.” When blood and water come out separately, this indicates the blood cells had begun to separate from the plasma which will only happen when the blood stops circulating.

THE STOLEN BODY THEORY

This argument holds that Jewish and Roman authorities stole the body or moved it for safekeeping. It is inconceivable to think this a possibility. If they had the body, why did they need to accuse the disciples of stealing it? “Matt. 28:11 15 11While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. 12When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money,13telling them, "You are to say, 'His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.' 14If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble." 15So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.”

THE SOLDIERS FELL ASLEEP THEORY.

“Matthew 28:12 13 When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money telling them, "You are to say, his disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.” If this so, how did they know it was the disciples who stole the body? And it seems physically impossible for the disciples to sneak past the soldiers and then move a two-ton stone up an incline in absolute silence. The would have been wake-up with the sound of the rock when it is removed. For further information the tomb was secured with a Roman seal. Anyone who moved the stone would break the seal, an offense punishable by death.
Hallucination theory
Hallucinations generally occur to people who are imaginative and of a nervous make up. Hence, the appearances of Jesus occurred to a variety of people. Hallucinations are subjective and individual. No two people have the same experience. In this case, over five hundred people “Corinthians 15:5-7 5 and that he appear to Peter, and then to the twelve 6 After that He appeared to more than 500 of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though same have fallen asleep” So, this theory is a void. Hallucinations occur only at particular times and places and are associated with the events.

HISTORICAL PROOF FROM THE HISTORIAN OF THAT TIME

Flavius Josephus - Jewish historian Antiquities 18:3:3.
At that time lived Jesus, a holy man, if a man he may be called, for he performed wonderful works, and taught men and they joyfully received the truth. And he was followed by many Jews and many Greeks. He was the messiah. And our leaders denounced him. When Pilate caused him to be crucified, those who loved him before did not deny him. For he appeared to them after having risen from death on the third day. The holy prophets had, moreover, predicted of him these and many other wonders. The race of Christians takes its name from him, and still exists at the present time.
Based on all his writings, Flavius Josephus, was obviously not a Christian. From his own Autobiography we know that Josephus was trained as a Pharisee. This proves that there is a crucifixion happened and so with the resurrection of Jesus and it is infallible.

Tacitus (55-115 C.E.)
The Annals, XV: 44

Tacitus was a member of the Roman consular nobility committed to the senatorial ideals of the Roman republic. He detested both Christians and Jews.
Tacitus wrote of the fire that consumed much of Rome in 64 C.E. during the reign of Nero and the chaos which followed the fire. Then Tacitus reported that Nero fixed blame for the disaster on Christians:
Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilate, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, and the first source of the evil, but even in Rome, where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the world find their centre and become popular. Accordingly, an arrest was first made of all who pleaded guilty; then, upon their information, an immense multitude was convicted, not so much of the crime of firing the city, as of hatred against mankind. Mockery of every sort was added to their deaths. Covered with the skins of beasts, they were torn by dogs and perished, or were nailed to crosses, or were doomed by the flames and burnt, to serve as a nightly illumination, when daylight had expired.

CONCLUSION

We have the changed lives of the Apostles. It is recorded in the Gospels that while Jesus was on trial, the Apostles deserted Him in fear. Yet 10 out of the 11 Apostles died as martyrs believing Christ rose from the dead. What accounts for their transformation into men willing to die for their message? It must have been a very compelling event to account for this.
Christ's Resurrection is necessarily a glorious one; it implies not merely the reunion of body andsoul, but also the glorification of the body. Christ's body was to know no corruption, but rose again soon after death, when sufficient timehad elapsed to leave no doubt as to the reality of His death.
“Romans 8:37-39 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor any else in the creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that it is Christ Jesus our Lord.
